How much is postage and packing?

The postage and packing is a fixed amount of £1.95 for UK orders only.

Can I pay by Debit Card?

Yes certainly - PayPal gives you the option of paying by Debit Card even if you do not have a PayPal account.

Do you offer personalised signed books for Internet orders?

Yes, books can be personally dedicated - just select this option when purchasing the book at the Checkout if you want me to dedicate any of our books to someone special in your life.

How do the Storytelling and Book Signing sessions fit together?

The Storytelling booking includes a separate Meet the Author Book Signing, where I can meet the children and they can buy their own signed and personalised copies of our books. 


The Book Signing session is normally  separate in order to give the children (and the parents) time to consider if they want to purchase one of our books.

Do you do any other work with children?

Yes - I have offered many bespoke children's workshops in schools, libraries, book shops and charities. Please drop us a line for more details at mark@tomsercat.com.

Are your books available on Amazon or in bookshops?

Not at the moment. Although if you are a small bookshop and you wish to stock any of our children's books, then please drop us a line at mark@tomsercat.com.

Are your books availble as ebooks?

Not at the moment as Tomser Cat is committed to producing high quality printed books.

Are you available for book signings or other events?

Yes most definitely. Please drop us a line at mark@tomsercat.com.

Can I preview your books before buying?

Yes certainly - just go to our Current Titles, click on a book and then you can view a preview sample as a PDF.

What other costs are involved in coming to our school or organisation?

Generally, travelling costs are free up to  a travelling distance of 15 miles. After that, there may be a small charge to cover time and travelling expenses, typically 25p per mile, plus any other reasonable costs incurred.

Storytelling Terms & Conditions

  • Storytelling sessions can be cancelled up to 48 hours before, but this will incur a 50% charge of the booked session cost.
  • A computer running Microsoft PowerPoint must be available at the school, logged on and ready to go in time for the start of the storytelling session.
  • A number of teachers need to be present during any of our sessions.
  • A text reminder or equivalent must be sent out to the parents the day before any scheduled book signing.
  • A book signing is generally arranged two to three days after the storytelling session unless otherwise agreed.
  • Book order forms and book money can either remain with the child for the book signing or collected beforehand with an associated  tally and register of all the children who are having their books signed.
  • Only agreed Tomser Cat books will be brought to the book signing.
  • Any children who forget their book money can purchase their Tomser Cat books online from this website.
  • Although our books are advertisedon other websites such as Amazon, Waterstones, etc., we will not supply them with any of our books due to their high charges. Tomser Cat books are only availabe from this website.
